Back WMUH Radio "Tuesday Morning AM/FM Show" My Picks Best New Releases in 2009 My musical tastes range around the alternative sound. So I seek artists that fit into that category. I like singer/songwriters in the folk, roots, pop, rock and country genres. I stray outside these parameters on occasion because good, infectious music has no boundaries. I only have access to the new releases sent by record companies to WMUH. We get plenty of new CDs but sometimes the labels for well established artists don't get around to sending copies to college radio stations and that's too bad. Anyway, each month, I'll comb through the new releases at WMUH. I will list my picks for the month in five album increments with the best at the top. More than likely, I will select my choice for the best CDs of the year from the top five albums in each month's review. It's all fun for the sake of the song.
