FEATURED ARTIST: Talking Heads
The most highly touted new wave band to emerge from the CBGB's scene in New York. An art pop rock band featuring Guitarist/vocalist David Byrne, Drummer Chris Frantz, Bassist Tina Weymouth and Keyboardist Jerry Harrison, all original members with the group from 1974 to 1989. Brian Eno produced most of their landmark albums. In 1991, Byrne went solo and the other band members formed the Tom-Tom Club. They released nine studio albums and two live recordings in 11 years .
