FEATURED ARTIST: The Avett Brothers
The Band is comprised of two North Carolina brothers, Seth and Scott Avett, and a bass player, Bob Crawford. They all sing and write music. They skewer the Americana genre with rock, folk and alternative country styles. They've developed some real magic with imaginative beats, hooks and melodies. They released five and a half albums to date and out of the three and half that I've heard there isn't a clunker among them. There may be a misstep or two per recording but all have great tunes on them.
