Mastering over 20 instruments, many of Doug's peers consider him the best performer to ever come out of Louisiana. His style blends Cajun music, country ballads and alt country pop. He was even the opening act on tour with Derek & the Dominos in 1969. He released dozens of albums starting from 1960 when he was in a band with his brothers.
