FEATURED ARTIST: Suddenly, Tammy!
Sister and brother Beth (piano) and Jay Sorrentino (drums) formed Suddenly, Tammy! along with Ken Heitmuller (bass) in 1991 from the basement of their home in Lancaster, PA. The group features power piano anchored by a strong rhythm section. The no guitar aspect of the band gave them a different slant on the independent music scene at least until Ben Folds Five came along. Suddenly, Tammy! released two full length CDs and three EPs in the mid-90's. Another complete CD called Comet has not been released with the masters owned and held by Warner Brothers records.
