The eccentric Jonathan Richman is a phenomenal artist. Not only does he compose great songs but he writes them in several languages. Beginning his musical journey with the Modern Lovers in 1973 he soon had top billing, eventually dropping the group name entirely. His style is rock & roll with a Latin rhythms that grows on you with repeated listenings. Jonathan Richman resides in New York City transplanted from Boston. He released dozens of albums over a more than 30 year career.
