FEATURED ARTIST: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Prior to Australian born Nick Cave's first solo release in 1984 he was the lead singer for the Birthday Party, a post punk noise rock band. From the menacing doom in his early songs to the sublimely refined and continuing dread in the later work, Cave consistently delivers above average alternative rock music tinged with roots, blues and pop qualities creating a singular sound. His deep baritone voice just adds to the pleasure. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have 14 studio albums cherished by the difficult music listener.
