Seattle's psychedelic pop rock band, Sky Cries Mary, comprises the twin vocals of Roderick Wolgamott and operatically trained Anisa Romero who imitates Yoko Ono on some tracks. Formed in 1989, the spacey, soaring tunes offer melodic harmonies with occasionally dubious lyrics. Sky Cries Mary broke up in 1999 but regrouped in 2004 to tour. They released six studio albums saving the best for this year, Small Town.
