After the break up of Buffalo Springfield in 1968, band members Richie Furay and Jim Messina stayed on for the first two Poco albums along with steel guitar man Rusty Young. Paul Cotton joined the band after that continuing as guitarist/vocalist until Poco went on haitus in 1984. Five years later, all the original members toured for one last time with various personnel still performing together to this day. Poco has a crisp sounding folk-country rock style that should be enjoyed by listenting to the first half of their nearly two dozen released albums.
