As a founding member of Traffic, there's no doubting Dave Mason's claim to rock superstardom although to my ears he writes catchy, pop-oriented folk-rock. After going solo in 1970 he recruited several major rock stars to help on his first few albums - Graham Nash, Mama Cass and George Harrison to name just a few. Dave Mason was born in England back in 1946 and has released an even dozen of studio albums along with many live recordings.
