Often critics categorize Neko Case's music as alternative country. While that's true, it really doesn't capture her overall style. She's a cross genre artist at home with alt country, folk pop music as well as bluegrass. If you want proof of this, just listen to her work with groups like The New Pornographers or The Sadies. The formidable, flame-haired vocalist, in her third decade of life, recently issued another first-rate CD that rivals her five previously released albums. I'm in love with my vision of Neko Case.
