Scottish singer/songwriter Gerry Rafferty may have reached his peak in the 1970's but his music transcends that period. He began as a solo performer then teamed with Joe Egan to form Stealers Wheel for three albums. Rafferty might be pigeonholed into the folk pop category but in reality, like many brilliant musicians, he has a unique, often imitated style. Along with the Stealers Wheel recordings, Jerry Rafferty released a bakers dozen of albums since 1971.
