Hailing from Stillwater, New Jersey, Railroad Earth is a mighty jam band mixing elements of bluegrass, celtic and rock to emerge with a decidedly unique roots rock sound. The seven member ensemble tours regularly at summertime festivals and good time taverns. They formed in 2001 clipping their name from a Jack Kerouac short story. Railroad Earth has released five well received CDs this decade.
