Formed in 1995 by New York City friends Firewater developed into a revolving cast of musicians with singer/songwriter Tod Ashley the only constant. Along with the raspy voice of the lead singer the alt pop rock band emphasizes ominous undertones and dark lyrics. After life's inevitable body slams, Tod A. traveled extensively and came out with one his best recordings, The Golden Hour. Firewater has released six immensely enjoyable albums over the last 15 years.
