FEATURED ARTIST: Chip Taylor
Country folk singer/songwriter Chip Taylor has one of the most intriguing back stories of all time. He was born James Voight in New York City in 1944, which makes him the brother of actor Jon Voight and the uncle of Angelina Jolie. He father was a pro golfer and he attempted that profession himself but hurt his wrist so returned to music. In the mid 60's he wrote such classic songs as Wild Thing and Angel Of The Morning along with many popular country songs. Taylor became a professional gambler in the late 70's but returned to music for good in 1993. He has released nearly two dozen albums in his long recording career.
