Austin, Texas indie rock band, Spoon, was formed back in 1994 when singer/songwriter/guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno previous band broke up. They choose their name from a 1970's hit song. They have a punk pop/classic rock style that's full of energy, guitar experimentation and unusual melodies. Spoon now has seven studio CDs under their belts along with an equal number of EPs.
