British singer/songwriter, Laura Marling, began her career by uploading a few songs to a social networking website at the tender age of 16 in 2006. Soon after she became an original member of the alternative folk band Noah and the Whale. A year later she broke with the group issuing a second solo album to critical acclaim. Her husky vocals and lovely acoustic guitar playing fit well with her folk pop arrangements. At 23, Laura Marling has already released three studio albums with a new CD expected this summer.
